Grade levels

Preschool PUppies

For dogs younger than 6 months.

​

Curriculum is based on AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and concludes with an optional evaluation.

​

Dog's Objectives: Learn basic behaviors like sit, stay, recall, and leash manners, while building confidence through socialization.

​

Human's Objectives: Develop the ability to read your puppy’s body language, strengthen relationship, create consistent training routines and provide positive experiences with new things (people, environments, surfaces, sounds, etc.).

Grade 1 - foundations

For dogs older than 6 months.

​Curriculum is based on AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and concludes with an optional evaluation.

​​

Dog's Objectives: develop calm behavior around strangers, distractions, and handling, reliable responses to cues, and ability to cope without separation.

​

Human's Objectives: Improve communication with clear and consistent cues & gestures, provide opportunities to desensitize to distractions and separation. 

Grade 2 - real world

For dogs older than 6 months. Must have completed AKC CGC.

 

Curriculum is based on AKC Community Canine (CGCA) and concludes with an optional evaluation.

Dog's Objectives: Develop advanced calm behavior around distractions, reliable responses to cues in various environments, and ability to maintain composure in social settings with other dogs and people.
 

Human's Objectives: Enhance communication through clear, consistent cues and provide varied real-world opportunities for the dog to practice behaviors in increasingly complex environments.

Grade 3 - URBAN WORLD

For dogs older than 6 months. Must have completed AKC CGC.

Curriculum is based on AKC Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU) and concludes with an optional evaluation.

​​

Dog's Objectives: Develop calm behavior in urban environments with specific challenges, such as traffic, crowds, and public spaces, while reliably responding to cues in these settings.

​

Human's Objectives: Strengthen communication with clear, consistent cues and expose the dog to urban distractions to build resilience and confidence in handling crowded, noisy environments.
